adding carpet to camper shell

    Yes, an assistant and some way to hold the carpet in place until it's fully adhered (i.e in the corners); it will be much easier to do off the truck and upside down. Make sure you prefit as much as possible and have new sharp blades for your razor knife as carpet dulls them quickly. Depending how coarse the fiberglass surface is (most shells seem to be laid down with a chopper gun, not mat) you may need a lot of contact cement and a can of liquid contact cement and a roller may provide better application than the spray. I had that issue with my first Tacoma's shell. They make outdoor carpet cement that will work but you'll never get that off again without making a huge mess.
