    Gentlemen,
I have a 1996 T100 5VZ-FE with only 202,000 on it. It runs perfectly and doesn't use a drop of oil even after a very high speed trip of nearly 500 miles. My problem is that I want to know if I can use the oil port in the block below the oil pressure sensor (OEM- Dash gauge) to install a digital aftermarket oil pressure gauge, and keep the original sensor as is. If that is possible, then I would like to know the metric size of that oil plug please.
    Thank you,
    Butch

Don't know anything about the taco port, but back in the day that's the same thing I'd do with pretty much all my trucks. Use the oil pressure idiot light but then tap into the port that was next to it, or put a "t" inline and use it to tap the oil pressure gauge or visa versa.
