What I’m looking to do is add 2 LED flood lights under my rear bumper and have them come on when the truck is in reverse. I do not want to splice into the the existing wiring or add a circuit. I would prefer a plug and play approach. I will be changing the reverse light bulbs in the taillights to LED and want to power the newly added flood lights off the backup light circuit. The flood lights I purchase will be between 10-18 watts, I don’t believe I will have to worry about drawing too much current on the existing circuit. If anyone knows the connector to the tail light and connector to the vehicle wiring harness I would be fine to make 1 on my own except I haven’t had any luck with part numbers. Or where I could purchase an already made harness accomplishing what I want.

I have plug and play harness for my Tacoma and tundra. One for a BDS1 and one for a VLED reverse bar, actually another one for a VLED brake bar

adding @daveeasa / @Puppypunter that could possible assist in connector pn’s and or make you a harness. They would need to know the lights you plan to use and or the connector it uses

DIY DIR thread has the connector specs. I have a ton of them. Closest product right now is the BD S1 hitchpod harness at hotshotoffroad. We can also do custom something if we know the connector to the light and the lengths. For dual lights I might go one T harness per side to avoid the need to daisy chain. I assume it’d be symmetrical.

    Cut the 2-pin off.

Thank you all for the fast responses. I will go with 1 of the recommended harnesses and cut off the auxiliary light connectors. From that point I can solder my flood light connections, heat shrink, and wrap with wire loom

Any interest in getting an aftermarket rear bumper that already has cut outs for large lights?
