So I bought the TRD Offroad 6MT. I wanted a manual and a short box, so it was the Offroad or the Sport. The extra 4000$ wasn't worth it for me.

There's plenty of available wireless chargers online designed to be mounted under tables or counters.

I was curious if anybody has taken that part of the dash apart yet for one reason or another and if easy to get to where to the wireless charger is supposed to be?

Anybody tool their lower dash console on an MT yet?

I found a few options for a wireless charger that I could mount where the factory one is, I’d just like to know which part to remove first before I start.

I was going down this same road, thinking I'd take apart the lower center console and attach a charger to the back.

Decided to go this route instead. It's very thin, will cleanly and easily connect to the USB ports already installed, and also function well. (not sure how it would function through the console plastic)

Anyway, I'm gonna give it a whirl.

I would recommend getting one of the 3D printed inserts found on Etsy for the MagSafe puck. See here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1756596413/toyota-tacoma-4th-gen-magsafe-compatible

if you don’t have an iPhone I really wouldn’t recommend wireless charging. Although it’s convenient, it’s hot and inefficient. Not to be an Apple shill but MagSafe (and you android users please correct me if there is a similar tech) is a lot more efficient because it properly lines up the coils however it doesn’t really solve that much of the heat issue.
