I'm planning on picking up my first Tacoma (2021) next week :). Thank you to this forum for a lot of my research.

One thing I couldn't seem to find an answer to online: the rear seat legroom in the double cab is listed as 32.6", but what is the position of the front seat when this is measured? Is that the maximum leg room with the front seat all the way forward? Or from the middle position of the front seat?

I have some figuring out to do with kids and carseats...

    working on it!
2nd row seats are comfortable for teenage children with duct tape over their mouths so you can play your favorite music and not hear them.

Swing by a dealer with a tape measure and jump in and check it out.

    Welcome!

Most of us here will probably suggest you bringing the actual carseat you own and test the fitment while test driving. That will give you the most accurate "measurement" and "feel"
