I know... im lazy and im an idiot for spray painting my wheels while they were on the vehicle. Only after finishing the first one, did i realize the error of my ways: that some of the spray got through to the rotors. They're brand new rotors too... ugh

Is this a safety hazard? Is it going to ruin my brakes? Or will it just burn off after a couple miles of driving and braking?

Spray some fluid film on the paint...it'll take the paint right off when u drive.

Are you serious?!?! Don't do that... Fluid Film is a lubricant, don't lubricate your brakes... That's a downright stupid idea.

The paint will likely just rub off under normal operation but, if it were me, I'd remove the wheels (like you should have done prior to painting) and spray down your brakes with break cleaner (Brakleen works well) and wipe them down. That should get rid of most of it, let the brakes themselves do the rest when driving.

Awesome. "Oil your brakes!" says the cop. :)

I don't even feel that going as far as Pugga suggests is needed. Every tire rotation, I take out whatever black spraypaint I've got on the shelf at the time, and I spray the center of the rotors and the calipers as well as the rear drums. I don't intentionally spray the swept surface of the rotors, but there's always plenty of overspray on them. I just bolt the wheels back on and drive, letting the paint scrape/burn away from the heat and friction.

Never have I had an issue.

Now if we were talking ceramic or carbon fiber rotors, I might think twice about masking them off. But not for a moment in this case.

Ah... sorry, I guess I missed it  But, keep in mind you're (jokingly) recommending that to someone who spray painted their wheels while they were still on the truck

This shouldnt hurt your brakes at all especially if its not a heavy coat. The pads will take the paint off the rotors the first time you apply the brakes for a few seconds most likely. Then the paint residue will just wear off the pads in a short time as the pads wear.

Paint on the rotors - no big deal. I've used brake rotors on my bmws that came completely painted. The paint comes off the braking surface on the first stop. Oil on the other hand, that's obviously no good.
