I have a 2016 Tacoma. Today it decided to stay in accessory mode regardless of how many times I’ve tried to turn off. Unhooked the battery for 10mins, let it sit and as soon as the battery reconnected it turned accessory mode back on. Anyone have a clue why this is happening?

Sounds like ignition switch is bad.
They didn’t have push button start in 16 did they?

Make sure it's in "PARK". I park; set the brake in "N" so it won't hang on the trans and forget to put it in PARK sometimes. ACC won't turn off for me when this happens......

Bad relay. Google it I bet it’s easy to figure out which. 10$ part and 5 minutes work.

just did a hour ago. so the owners manual says the triangle with the exclamation point means up to 3 things. engine over heating, tranny fluid temp issue and last,, the kicker low oil pressure. i went to my friend at a auto fixit shop and he put it on a scanner, the end result it is a toyota trick to get you to come in thinking you have an issue but in reality they will sell you a oil change and filter and whatever else one may fall for. they cleared the warning and i was on my way. in the future now i know and can clear it myself. when it said low oil pressure that's what threw me.

For myself it was ultimately my carelessness installing my meso puddle lights that led to this issue and a few others I had at the time. I chaffed the wires going from the drivers master window switch to the rear window switches when I was running the wires through the door boots. I took months for a fuse to pop, and actually the master switch fried and stopped working long before the 30amp fuse for the passenger rear window pop’d and the drivers rear window fuse never did.

Odd.. Only mod i've done recently was the anytime camera and that works fine. I undid the ground on the battery overnight and currently is working perfect since morning... I'll update the post incase anything happens.
