Access To Area Above Glove Box

Anyone know how to get in here?

I removed all the screws ready.

 

I’m not sure on this one, but some petroleum jelly might not be a bad idea.
Just kidding. That one is a mystery

 

Pretty sure that’s just where the airbag is

 

Grab it pulll like a mother, it will come off, doubt it will go back on.

What in there you need access to?

 

On the right side of the glove box, you need to remove that cover too.

There will be another screw under that part to remove that cover.

There is a nice open drug hiding spot behind there.

 

So his truck is from Mexico

 

There’s an air bag behind there be careful

 

Step 1. Put it in drive
Step 2. Hit a tree
Step 3. Cut out deployed airbag

 

Where?

 

Right under the far right vent. Open the door and on the side of the dash there is a half moon shaped plastic. Remove that. THen you can remove the panel right under the vent.

THere is a screw under that panel.

I would love to replace that factory piece with a leather covered one that matches my seats. I think the Limited has leather or "leather-like" covering.

 

After looking through that thread, I realized the gap isnt big enough to legitimately mount an amp.
