Has anyone ever replaced the door weather seal (rubber seal all the way around both doors) on a 2nd Gen Tacoma access cab? I would like to hear about that if you did, as in, where you got the seal, and what the process involved.

    Thanks.

Have you used anything to clean/soften them up?

I did mine, both Driver and Passenger doors about 4-5 months ago. I just ordered the door seals from a Toyota dealer online (i think it was out in the Midwest somewhere) since the price for these here in California were way higher. Replacement is straight forward, you just pull the old ones off along with the clips and install the new ones which comes with clips.

Did the cold weather squeak go away? How much should we expect to pay if ordered online?

If you got squeaks - try heavy duty silicone ( not the caulking. ) My squeaks like crazy and i'm at a point where Vaseline is my next option... all you need is grease that won't eat up your seals... just don't sloop it on to where it gets on your pants / clothes.....

I've tried a couple of products. Still, my driver side door seals 'chatter' (like tacky or something) at certain temperatures, drives me nuts. Doesn't always do it, but when it does, it's right in my ear. I thought new seals might help.

My AC squeaks every once in a while. When I detail my interior I use aerospace 303 on all of the door seals and I clean and wax the painted part of the door jams, keeps it quiet for a pretty good amount of time until it gets dirty again, worth a try! I'll probably replace my front door seals eventually to fix the kazoo sound on windy days

Yup and yup, the only one i forgot to replace was this one circled in blue. My trucks an 05' though and live in the desert, i've never done anything to them like adding silicone. The only time they squeak is when hitting dirt my reason for replacing was wind noise, it got really bad.

Edit: on the front doors you will need to unbolt the door check because the seal is all one piece.

Honestly, if you Google the part number- you'll get a price..... unless your a body shop where you can a discount... but honestly, the online price is close to body shop pricing....

Use this on your seals - https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_7651351

Works great, no wind noise, no squeaks.

Only drawback - on my white truck, it left a yellowish stain where the seals hit the truck. You can only see it when the doors are open. I think I will try to clay bar it off - but it is not a high priority item.

I don't think staining will be an issue on magnetic gray metallic, but I could be wrong...did you apply liberally, wipe off, apply sparingly, or what?

For $7, I don't think I can lose by trying this before ordering new seals...thanks!

True - on MGM I don't think the slight yellowish stain will be seen.
