I just ordered the lowering kit from XIIPERFORMANCE and I am wondering how much of a drop I will get. Someone here use that kit that can show me a pic so I can have an idea Ho le my truck will end up looking.

BTW my tires size are R235/50R19image.jpg

You are best to be looking in this sub-forum for your answers .. if it's been done, it'll be found in there.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/street-trucks.70/

Ease up bud, it's a 5-lug .. much easier to deal with in lowering it, than to sky-jack yet another 6-lug.

    No shit.

If you want to hate on someone for lowering, go pound sand.

He didn't ask if he could lower your truck.

looks like one of the kits they have is the 1.7" front and 2" rear.

Take a tape measure and and measure out approx. 1 3/4" down from the fender and 2' down on the rear. From my experience.... the top of the fenders should sit just above the tires.. Maybe 2 fingers above. And sit level, no rake.. Front springs are made by Eibach so they are good quality..

    Good luck.

    Thanks for the info.

@ryanjboutin I want my Tacoma to be like the one on your picture. Where or from who you get that setting 3/5?

Thanks for the info, definitely what I was looking to get but not sure if I want to go that route with the notch cutting thing. I will try the kit I ordered from XII Performance and if I not satisfied by the results then I may try that.

That looks nice. another .5" in the front and it would be perfect IMO. The rear is just right.

Nothing against wanting to lower a truck, but how do you get around? You would bottom those things out just getting in and out of parking lots around here.

I've always wondered the same thing. Nothing against it, just not my cup of tea. Out of comedic obligation, I have to share this picture though.

You either have airbags and adjust your suspension/vehicle height like any airbag equipped vehicle or you don't drive where you can't get around.
