Hi, I have a 2014 Tacoma Club Cab. The AC button on the climate control panel, that you push to turn the AC off so the Fan will operate and the heater will work, won't shut the AC off. Any suggestions on what I need to fix it would be of great help. I'm a disabled Veteran on a fixed income. So if there is a reasonable cost way to fix, please pass it along. Thank You

Welcome! Have you tried it on all the vent settings? I know if you have it set on defrost, the AC stays on to pull moisture out of the air. Maybe try turning it to dash vents and see if it will go off that way.

Is the temp knob turned all the way to Max (all the way to the left) ? Turn it one notch from Max and see if that changes things.

You also cannot turn a/c off when in max setting.

Thank you all for the response on the problem, Black Coffee and Gotblika hit it on the head with the correct answer, I guess the Japanese like a good joke. Thanks again everyone. Problem Solved.

you can bypass that function easily enough. there are multiple threads on here showing how. I have done both the "AC max on" mod and the "defrost AC off mod". both work great.
