Wife mentioned the other day in the truck that the AC wasn't cold. Mine felt fine. I put my hand on passenger side vents are they are blowing room temp air. Did some testing.

Driver's far left side air is cold. Driver's right side is cool.
Passenger side left is room temp. Passenger far right is almost warm.
Closing driver's side vents make passenger side vents blow cool.
If I flip the dial to blow at feet, far left driver's side vent still blows cold. Other top vents stop blowing correctly.
I can definitely hear a hiss or a valve open (EV?) when you turn the air on now. It's quite louder than it's been in the past and seems to do it more often.

38k on the clock, of course it's out of warranty.

Did you have the blower recall done on it?

If the dual zone system is good, this is classic low charge symptom.

Your AC is low on refrigerant. Myself and and number of people on here have had the same symptoms of cool air on the drivers side and getting progressively warmer towards the passenger side.

So was the leak found and repaired? I'd hate to just have refrigerant added and it leak back down in a short period of time.

I would get the system checked, you shouldn't be having a/c refrigerant problems on a three year old truck.

Mine was caused by a failing compressor but anything that allows a leak will cause the same symptoms. You will likely have to have a dye added to the system to trace down the leak.

So same thing was happening to me. Blowing cold on the drivers side and warm on the passenger sides. I checked the blend door actuators and they were fine. Ended up hearing a bit of hissing inside the cab and was worried it was going to be the evaporator. Just took it in today as I’m close to 36k. They called and said they found a leak in the condenser. I’m happy with that as I thought they were gonna have to rip out the entire dash to fix the leak or replace the evaporator. Waiting on the parts but truck should be fixed tomorrow.
