Had the dash apart and the metal clip that holds the knob onto the AC unit got lost. Anyone got a part #?

If you can’t find them, you can make one out of a soda can or thin piece of metal- cut and bend. People have used electrical tape or plumbers tape to fill the space. Then they are still removable. I think you can only get that clip if you buy a new knob.

Lost mine a while back and asked the same question. A guy sent me the entire knob and clip for free, plus a cool sticker.

Hopefully someones got a spare lying around.

worse case, wrap a thin layer of aluminum foil around the part on the dash, and then slip the knob on. might work, and it might not.

A piece of electrical tape works good. I’ve had mine that way for like 8 years now lol.
