Hello all!Been going crazy trying to find an AC compressor bypass pulley for my 06 Tacoma.Compressor shit the bed,and I'm not replacing it!Pulled the fuse for the clutch and all is good for now.My concern is when the clutch bearing goes,I either slap in a new clutch bearing,or a bypass pulley.Dont care about the AC ,so I'd just assume pull the compressor and put the bypass pulley in.Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have been driving my 2010 with a blown compressor for 5 years now . The compressor seized solid and is seized in place to this day . As long as the magnetic clutch cant apply , you are good to go . At least thats what I have been doing . I took all the guts out of the clutch so there is no possible way the clutch will apply and smoke the serpentine belt . Also pulled the clutch fuse .
Like you , my first thought was a bypass pulley but this works better.
You can still run the factory belt . If the pully on the AC clutch starts to wobble , just replace the pulley and the bearing .
Not the answer you are looking for but if you run the way I do it , it will save you some cash

The 2.7 was offered in a very basic form without AC, power windows, etc. IIRC that you could put one of those trim levels in the parts catalog and it comes up with a different drive belt.

And indeed this is correct. The belt to bypass the AC compressor is 90916-02639
