Does anybody know where the abs relay is? I looked under the the engine compartment fuse block, not there. I have a Haynes manual also not much help. My truck is a 2004 Tacoma, v6, manual transmission, 4wd. I have found the abs control module and most of the other abs stuff but not the relay. When I scan it the scanner says cannot connect to abs system. This is the last try before taking it to the dealer.
    Thanks for your help.

You don't have an ABS relay. You have an ABS ECU that's attached to the ABS actuator. It's located in the engine bay, passenger side, between the window wiper motor and above the fender.

That's very weird. I stopped at the Toyota dealership and the parts guy showed me the relay on his schematic. I also ordered one from advance auto because Toyota wanted to much for one. I already got a used actuator that has the ecu on it. I guess I'll wait and see when I get the relay to see if it actually goes some where.
    Thanks for the response.

Don't see a relay. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I do see a something listed as a relay block on the bottom of the third page. It says it's on page 21. I don't know if this is what I'm looking for or not.
Great tech sheets by the way.

R/B No.2 is the engine fuse/relay harness. Located on the LH side, between the battery and brake booster. Although it contains several relays(starter, heater, tail & pwr outlet relays), no relays for the ABS are listed. It does house both ABS fuses (30A and 60A) in the location. So I'm guessing you blew one of ABS fuses. The 30A is easily removable. But the 60A is bolted to the underside of the R/B No.2 assembly. Which requires disassembly of the fuse block. Be gentle. Good luck.

2003 FSM w/ EWD, Here. Most of it is relevant for the 04.
