Yesterday, my 2018 TRD OR threw ABS & PCS error lights. I tried to read the codes via OBDII reader but it could not find any codes. I have taken the truck to the dealer. They can’t figure out what is wrong and can’t clear the errors. They called the Toyota engineers and were told there is an “open circuit” somewhere causing the fault. I was then “grilled” over any mods I have done that may have caused the issue. He very specifically inquired about a grille change. I still have the stock TRD OR grille and haven’t moved or modified the TSS location.

I do have a Pedal Commander which I removed before taking to the dealership. Taking it off did not clear the error. I also have an LED light bar that is integrated with my Westin bull bar. I have the KTJO tailgate locking mod and Matt Gecko bed & under-hood lights. That is it for mods.

Any idea what could be causing the malfunctions?

Did you tap any of theses mods into any of the trucks electrical circuits that are controlled by computer? Open circuit means the electrical circuit is not complete.

Yes, there was an open circuit. One of my crimps has come undone for the bull bar LED light.
