I have seen a few Toyota Trucks logos around, in my opinion, none that really look right in the stock location. The ones I see look clunky and fit awkwardly. Thinking about making one of these out of aluminum. Buddy of mine is going to CNC it on a break at work I hope! The one I mocked up will keep the exact oval dimension and just replace the logo. Not sit on some extra plate. And I want air to flow through the T. Need to figure out how it will stay in there. Bolts that show, or adhesive perhaps.

I'd like to see an oval with the TRD logo inside. Not sure how that would work- but the oval and logo in red would be cool.

That looks like a cool variation of what is currently available. Looking forward to seeing a prototype made and put on a truck!

Sick of searching for it. I am a graphic designer. So I can make a clean file for a shop easily. I would sell on my jeepsticker.com site if I can get a bunch made. We will see. Those CNc machines are expensive and they charge a lot to make stuff

Just make one then invest in the products to do something like this. http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/paint-body/ccrp-0705-custom-car-emblem/. That's just one example and there are a lot of similar methods. Not cheap at first for sure but less expensive overall than CNC or 3d printing.

    Very Interested.

I agree with your sentiment that many of the available options look clunky. I want one that fits seamlessly into the OEM grille.

I'd also like to advocate for a jet-black, type II anodized version. I want to blacken my emblem, but the Plasti-Dip option is less than ideal. It wears off too quickly for me.

As for attachment, I would suggest adding some male bosses, protruding from the back of the emblem, in the same locations as the OEM plastic tabs. Perhaps these bosses could be threaded with blind-holes for some sort of secondary bracket that "pinches" the logo onto the grille from the rear (and stays hidden from the front)

Think this will be cool? Sticker is not staying just made for placement Mine will be aluminum. Might make painted acrylic ones eventually.

Need to make it clear and light it up with LED lights behind the grille so you don't see the bulbs but the light travels through the logo.

I would like that but not my specialty just a graphic designer. :). Glowing blue or orange. Or a choice of colors. Our mini interior has selectable colors.

Definitely a big improvement over the lame mushroom logo. I'd be interested in one. I have an '05, I don't know if the badge fits the same as the current ones.
