Hey, who makes a decent brush guard / grill guard for the 95-96 Tacomas? My son is wanting one, mainly for looks rather than actual function (IMHO). Painted rather than chrome, thank goodness. Warn transformer set-up is a little too pricey for him.

I got lucky with Craigslist. I found a used Manik one - I actually bought it on a gamble the seller didn't know what vehicle it came from. I fully anticipated having to weld new custom mounts, it ended up fitting fine. Couldn't call Manik since they went bankrupt in the early 2000's. I stripped the powder coat with aircraft fuselage paint stripper and used Rustoleum bumper paint. Paid $100.

Try Westin. They're a couple hundred bucks. I'd save up for a ARB full plated bumper TBH. $800-900

I know it's not a 95/96, but I bought a manik from a TW member and it is incredibly solid. No movement or rattles on rough terrain and makes an excellent kneeling point when working on plugs/valve covers/etc... I paid 100$ for it and picked up local. I will eventually be going to an ARB with winch....

Still looking. ARB and Warn are $800+ apiece, too pricey at this time. I saw an archived thread from 2012 where a guy had a nice brush guard on a '96; someone asked what brand it was and that was the end of the thread - no answer given.
