90/100 watt headlight bulbs

    all-pro coilovers, uca's, 3" leafs + shackles
    i have an '04 and i have a set of 90/100 watt H4 bulbs that i was going to put in it. has anyone done this? did they melt the housings?

    I wouldn't want to run 90w low beams, the bulb and maybe the wiring will get hot and other drivers may not like it. I run hella 55/100 so I have the brights when I need it.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Wires are gonna get warm/hot. I used 65/80 without issue.

    I as well.

    The temperature is a valid concern for the housings jumping up that much in wattage. The remedy for lack of current carrying capacity of the wiring could be remedied with a relay.

    I have the osram ralliye bulbs in my BMW, they do work well
