Speaking of Waterports....I had been trying to buy on but they have been out of stock in most places when I look,,,so running out of time I built the diy version. One thing I would like to change is the fitting for filling. Does anyone know w good bulkhead type fitting or solution for the fill port with a screw on cap like in the waterport (which is not one of the screw in pvc fittings or the test plug pvc fitting).

Carriage bolts into the Prinsu rack slots with nylock nuts and some washers. The Waterport is mounted to its mounting plate per their directions. I have two bolts on each side at the front and one bolt on each side at the back. The Waterport itself only came with 4 sets of nuts and bolts.

Okay so I received my package today, Costco decided to sent me an original 3.8 gallon waterport and charged me $280 for it.
Now of course they're out of stock so they cannot replace it and send me a proper one

Mine started leaking from the seam as soon as I pressurized it. First time! Unfortunately I didn't test on ground and it's already on my rack. Anyone else has had this misfortune? This waa right before my independence day camping trip ... smh

    Oh, that sucks!

I didn't get a right tank, so I'm still using my old 3.8 gal. This whole thing makes me question whether I should even try getting 8 gal

Nope. Mines good. I left it pressurized for a whole week to really make sure so I can return if needed.

Hi - Can someone who bought the 8 gallon Waterport Weekender from Costco confirm that it comes with everything that is offered on other sites at $399? (Hose, mount, etc)

There might be. Not so sure about $50 though. When I built mine, it cost me way more, especially if you want to include a coiled hose, nozzle, pressure relief valve, etc.

Anyways, here's a link to the one on TW
    DIY pressurized water tank update
