6ft bed with tool box, to fit full size dirt bike?

    Would there be any way to fit a full size dirtbike in a 6ft bed with a tool box? maybe catty cornered & tail gate down?

    Too many variables here. Size of toolbox and size of bikes are going to vary. Sounds like it would be tight to me, even with tailgate down. But, perhaps you could come up with something to extend the "floor" out the back to support the rear of the bikes. Maybe something kind of like how people transport long kayaks/canoes that utilizes the trailer hitch for a support.

    72.3 inch bed, 14.5 inch tool box. bike is 58 inch wheel base

    i did the math it would be very close im just going to remove said tool box. im traveling out of state for a dirt bike. I would hate to see it doesn't fit lol.

    Sounds like you have the numbers to do the math. Your rear tire would likely be near the edge of tailgate, but that’s no big deal if your bike is secured properly. I used to haul my RMZ250 in the bed of my 1st Gen with a toolbox.

    yea i did do math. it would be very close or not enough room so im just taking the box out, im not risking out of state transfer over it.

    Prolly a good decision to play it safe. Hopefully removing the toolbox isn't a huge pain.

    You could also remove the front wheel.

    Here's a 6ft bed with a CRF250L(57.3" wheelbase). The wheelbase is measured from the center of the axles though.
