Does anybody that is 6' or taller have any experience sleeping in the 6' Tacoma bed (on a platform or bed floor)? I know the actual bed length is 73.5" (and I'm 73") but want to be sure it won't be too cramped because it will be an overlanding truck. I'm pretty sure I won't be sleeping on my back with my toes pointed toward the license plate but wanted to be sure, lol.

    Thanks much :)

What does the bed measure on the diagonal? (hint; longer)

    Can you sleep that way?

Whoah, had to break out the pythagorean theorem for that one lol....its 93" diagonal in the raised sleeping area. But, I was hoping to use the sides for storage and sleep straight.

I'm 6'2, sleep in my bed all the time totally comfortable. I do sleep slightly curled on my side though, if you're a back sprawler or starfish sleeper you'll probably want to consider sleeping diagonal.

OK you guys just decided a purchase. I'm going with the Tacoma long bed. Whew, what a pain finding dimensions for these vehicles, though. I mean who measures the 'cubic feet' of their equipment, adds it up, then finds the 'optimal' packing solution like some UPS driver, lol - dealers: just put the relevant lengths and widths out there! Thanks y'all!!

Yeah I'm 6'1" too and slept fine in mine. I think I, and most people, naturally curl up just a little while asleep
