This is my current favorite of all the trailer builds I've seen. Nice work.

Yup, I’ve seen that too. There’re all lots of different types of media to choose from depending on what you’re blasting.

    Thank you Sir

Going low tech on the lighting :D

I took the awning off the Prinsu this morning, welded the ARB brackets to a couple pieces of angle iron, and mounted it all to the trailer rack.

The awning is 6’6” at the trailer. That allows a nice slope to 6’ at the outside. This allows me to get the trailer in the garage. My truck won’t fit unless I take everything off the roof, or let the air out of the tires.

I was over thinking the whole quick release awning thing. It just needs to be removable. Four bolts and it’s off. Six more nuts, and the legs are separated from the awning and inside the trailer box. Awning can go inboard on the rack on some large Quickfists. It’ll always be mounted anyway, unless we hit a tight trail with the trailer on.

I found this folding step in a Jeep that I bought once. I found it again a couple of days ago while looking for something else. I knew it’d come in handy one day.

This Pelican I bought a couple of months ago just because it was on sale and I had some Cabelas points to use. Glad I got it now.

What's the reason for having the rack sit so high off the roof? I know you couldn't fit the lights under there if it wasn't but that can't be the only reason, is it?

That was the deciding factor in regards to height off the roof. I didn’t want it too close anyway though. It’s nice to have room to get your hands under a rack to actually strap things down. Also, it’s much easier to wash the roof. The trailer is low enough, so height isn’t an issue.

I’m hoping they’re big enough. It’s going to be close according to the dimensions we were given.

They’re just sitting there. I’m not going to mount them until I know.

Best you could do us run a cable through the handles of the bag. Not that it would help at all.

Everything turns into a project. I bought a folding hitch carrier, but realized that was a mistake immediately after putting it on.

WAY to far out from the back of the trailer. Not only did it look horrible, but was also more leverage to take weight off of the tongue.

It was also sloped down too much with the slop in the hitch.

A little cutting, grinding, welding, and drilling, and I’m happy with it now.

Yea just weld them on. Or put an unmolested receiver on the second trailer and put that one in front. No worries Chimmy your options are endless

Stumbled on this thread and had to sub. Both love and hate it though - love the work @HolyHandGrenade has been doing and how this trailer is coming out, hate that now I have a sudden need for a trailer.
