Couldn’t find an answer in search or 2024 forum but anyway, would I have to order a TRD Sport w JBL and 6 foot bed if I want it that way or is anyone finding them on lots?
    Thanks,

Not all cab/bed configs are available on all trims and with all options. Toyota is not like other manufacturers in that you cannot order a custom truck. You would have to find out if the options you want are actually available together to start with, and from there you can reach out to dealers to find out if they are getting any allocations that match up to it. You can't actually order a specific truck.

The only 2024 6’ beds I’ve seen advertised in my area to date are TRD OR or the access cabs. All TRD Spirts have been short beds. If you want a TRD Sport you might have to wait until they start shipping. I think the 6’ bed is worth.

All upgrade or premium pkgs have JBL.

Well, dealer at Richardson Toyota that told me and showed me order sheet that they have a 6 foot Trd sport incoming but no JBL or power seats while dealer at Pat Lobb Toyota McKinney told me if you want a 6 foot Trd sport with the JBL and power seat Trd sport upgrade, plus package, or whatever that I would have to order it whatever that may mean

I see long beds (DCLB) at my local dealer. The take rate isn't that high but not nothing. Around 10-15% from what I remember.

    Thats an SR5.

i guess we are lucky. Most dealers here just advertise MSRP. One likes to add $2k for paint protection. But that dealer doesn't list it for all trucks. Tundras and 4R are frequently listed under MSRP.

Yeah, I've seen a 6' double cab SR5 before, but it was pre-sold so I couldn't drive it or sit in it, and my photos suck, sorry.

    Thank you
    JB_TN
    for the google docs link.

Was able to score, fair, and learned about other crazy dealers by looking. Crazy hidden stuff that makes no sense, equivalent to blinker fluid on some options.

I think long bed look normal in person.

No, in fact I think short beds look like an afterthought. Essentially Toyota has always designed the 6 ft bed to start and they simply bob off a foot near the cab for the short bed models. That abrupt cut in the sheet metal has always looked awkward to me, especially as the front end on Tacomas has gotten longer.

As of a few days ago, there were 306 2WD TRD Sports, DCLB on the allocation sheet. The minimum MSRP for the vehicle with the TRD Sport Upgrade Package you're looking for is $45,750. There's only 185 of those at that MSRP and above, but many dealers add a bunch of other crap to push the price up. Since you liked the Underground color, there's 44 of those that meet the above criteria. You'd have to sort through all the options and call around to see if the one you want has been "sold" or not, which means they've taken a reservation or deposit already. Oh, and there's 58 of those on allocation that the dealer is charging a markup, anywhere from $395 to $5000. I always sort those out of the running. YMMV.

Don’t always count out the ones with markups. The last Tacoma I bought had a dealer markup for window tint and PPF on the hood, bumper and fenders which are all reasonable. Negotiated the price to be equivalent to MSRP plus what I would’ve paid to get that done anyway and saved myself a day or two of dropping the truck off at a different shop.
