I am wanting to move my aftermarket audio equipment from my old car to my new truck. Below is what I have:

    JL C3-570: 5 x 7 / 6 x 8-inch (125 x 180 mm) Convertible Component/Coaxial Speaker System

    JBL GTO8608C: 6" x 8" / 5" x 7" 2-Way Car Component Speakers System

    JBL GTO938: 6x9" 3-Way GTO Series Coaxial Car Speakers w/ Titanium-Mylar Tweeters

    Crescendo PWX 6.5" Midrange Speakers

    Sundown SA-8 v.2 8" Subwoofers

I already know that I won't be moving everything to the truck, I just included listed everything as an fyi.
I understand that the subwoofers are probably too deep to fit in any box I could squeeze in there (6 5/8" mounting depth). I will probably be putting the midrange speakers or the JBL GTO938 in the rear doors. Maybe someone could give some advice on which to use...
What I really what advice on is the front doors. I really want to use the JL speakers. They are really nice and I would LOVE to continue using them, however I haven't found anywhere that says 5x7/6x8 speakers will fit. Does anyone have any experience using 5x7/6x8 in 3rd gens? I will be getting my hands dirty and start looking into this myself in the next day or two, but I thought I would ask the question here and give it a day or two and see if anyone has any tips or advice on this subject.

^what he said. you're not going to see any experience using 6x8's in these trucks because it's a weird ford size ;). 6.5 and 6x9 are much more common sizes with more diverse options, so that's the route nearly everyone goes.

as far as the sub, you didn't specify single cab/access cab/4dr, so not exactly sure, though the 4dr was most common, and also has the most hidden space-- access cab, the box would be visible and sitting on the floor behind the front seats, which would definitely fit.

if you've got the 4dr, at 7", they aren't going to fit. most box designs for the 4dr are around 7-8" deep at the bottom tapering up, and not accounting for the typical 3/4" walls. that depth also doesn't account for the significant forward travel of the sub!
