I've been wondering if there's any bottom end kits that will allow a much higher end rpm range? Also any full exhaust kits performance bolt on. ?

Not much for the first question unless you get a forged crank out of a Camry which @Empty_Lord ’s doing - that said the bottom end will handle turbo and super charging to a pretty decent amount of boost. Plenty of exhausts out there but they don’t add performance, just noise.

locate a 3VZ-FE crank from a camry... thats the only forged crank for a 5vz direct swap. Cant be had new... because i bought the last brand new one.

that being said the 3vz-fe cams also fit and technically can make power to 7k rpm.. but thats with a camry manifold.. not a 5vz manifold. ive yet to get the 5vz running with the 3vz cams to see how it performs

Are we talking intake or exhaust manifold?

intake. the 5vz intake is tuned for torque with its super long runners. the camry intakes had variable length runners. but i dont believe it can be made to work on our 5vz engines

Any good turbo kits for the stock 5vzfe, I Know about the supercharger kits, but turbo seems to be cheaper?

ehh unless you want a chinese made turbo a supercharger is likely cheaper once you count all the fab work that would need to be done.

eh.. probably less than 10 psi with a turbo. tuning affects how much the engine can handle.. a bad tune can kill the engine with 1 psi

safest bet is to keep it under 280 hp to the wheels if you want relaibility. and DO NOT RAISE THE REV LIMITER. The stock cranks grenade if you push to much RPM, plus the stock cams, engine runs out of breath before redline

I'm not looking for reliable, a refurbished motor itself is cheap enough that I can just drop a new one in everytime it blows. The main plan is to try to get 300 and just strip every extra ounce of weight I can. Hardest part is finding someone who wants a stepside bed from the truck, I would hate to junk it.

im sure the bed can be gotten rid of easily. if your around indiana i'd take it and store it for one of my inevitable projects.

300 hp should be attainable. stock engine. just make sure tunes good.. hell i think some blower guys are making 300

I’m probably at 300 rear wheel or very close, yes, it’s doable but not much more because the supercharger is maxed out rpms

I did a Dyno today to see where I stand with stock ECU,stock injectors, just methonal added.

At 6000 feet my boost varies from 10 to 13 pounds depending on the temperature, humidity, barometer pressure, etc.

It was warm today and my boost was on the low end at 10 pounds,
    Dyno read 10 pounds and
The results were 273 hp and 302 pounds of torque at 10 pounds.
Each pound of boost is 12 hp at the rear wheel or so for my truck.
So at 12 pounds my rear wheel is at 297 rear wheel and 326 pounds of torque rear wheel.

At 13 pounds just over 300 rear wheel

At sea level you can get more boost but still the TRD is maxed out around or a little above the 300 mark if setup correctly.

Torque goes straight up right out of the gate.
So my rear wheel horses vary from 275-300 depending on the day
