That's a horrible idea. What time?
We went out to Sequoia / Kings before the fires. Amazing how big those trees are. I stood in the split of one, and my wife backed to try and get the whole tree. You couldn't see me at all in the pic, and at 6'6", I'm kind a hard to miss. Enjoy!

That happened in my MIL's neighborhood. Google Fiber contract installer did the same thing. Flood waters reached into some houses. Of course no one had flood insurance, they were on top of a ridge. Only we got about 3" of rain in 90 minutes. The city got immediately involved, and Google covered all the damage their contractor caused.

The project was paused for about 2 months...and someone else finished it up.

So if you head into a 10 mph headwind at 60 mph is that a 70 mph headwind?

Since we're on the subject of big tooth picks.....

These are all taken from various trips (early 2000's) to the California "Calaveras Big Trees" State Park outside the mountain town of Arnold, in northern CA up around 4000' elevation on highway 4. These are Sequoia's as they grow in the mountains and Redwoods on the coast. None of these are record breakers, but even so, when you stand at the base of one and look up......

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good afternoon all,

Neighbor has a NTW (National Tire Warehouse) business account and I have used it to purchase tires in the past. I needed new tires for my 6x12 utility trailer and went to pick them up. Lots of tires in the warehouse.

Oh yeah, in October their lease is up and will NOT be renewed. These F’in slackers didn’t pay rent for 16 months, and even then I haven’t had full payment since February 2020. I can’t evict them, or turn off any utilities because of the damn COVID protections.
    If I had a desk to flip…:annoyed:

Amazing pictures Zim! Thank you for sharing. Good luck with the Congressional assistance…:frusty:

Dammit Dan. Hopefully she only has minor symptoms.

    Hi Rob! :fistbump:

All well here and hope it is with you and the family as well. Pick up my new Polaris Northstar Trail Boss tomorrow. Been on order since last October. Off work Wednesday for the rest of the week and headed Up North of Duluth for the Duluth Double Gun Classic Shoot. No complaints! Except I got roped into cooking most of the meals. Again LOL.

Nova had a breeding couple of months ago in Wi. with one of the top hunting Toller breeders in the Country.

    And there are puppies now

She asked if I wanted a puppy and was hard but said no. His last son is only a year and a half, and 3 Tollers is more than I could handle. But bottom line I am realizing that I would be in my early 80's before he finished life if all went well. The realization of my mortality is sinking in deeper each year. But life is good, for now.

Been a long time since checked in and when I did earlier first thing I seen took the wind out of my sails so quietly went away to gather myself.

Susan so sorry and hope the good memories will help with the burden you are going through about now. I am no word smith so don't have the words for it. I keep the card the vet and vet techs got me when Sniper crossed the rainbow bridge. Been a lot of years but still get that damn dust in my eyes when I read it and think of him and our time together.

I know a place that has some pie to go with that ice cream Dan ;) And hope Mary does well with the latest round of Covid hopefully it will be mild and gone in no time flat!

Glad you are still making the escape to the villa Andy!

Well, it's over... Annie's gone!!! So sad - she's been with me for 16 years, 3 months, & 25 days.... Not happy with my vet... he doesn't do euthanasia's any more... you have to go to the ASPCA... ok, I guess, so off we go. Get there and it's a room... not very nice, but ok.... They are supposed to give her a shot to relax her - ok... supposed to wait a bit for it to work.... didn't wait long enough, so Annie jerked her leg and all the "stuff" didn't go in to her vein and vet had to give her another shot of the stuff. Vet keeps checking for a heart beat.... Did Annie get enough to the stuff to do it's job?!?!? :annoyed: Or do I need to go back and check on her?? Then a few minutes later.... you ready?!?!? Took her to the funeral home close to my house - it's the one most of the folks I spoke with recommended. I need to find another vet that will do euthanasia's for the next time.... :(
