Yes, it can be done, but why not just get a 6 lug in the first place? Why go through all the headache, back breaking work and not to mention time and $$$ spent? The money you save on the conversion alone can pay for other mods on your rig.

just six lug wheels.. ,its easier to find six lug wheels than five lug wheels.

haha.. true true also, but i bought the truck last christmas with no intention of doing anything to it, im fixing to leave ofr air force anyhow so its no big deal. maybe after i get time

u should be able to get a set of adapters for the 5 lug to the 6 lug...i've seen them out for other vehicles, so i dont think that it'd be too hard to find some for this truck

Don't think that I would want to space them out to accomplish 5 to 6 conversion.
Would at least need to change rotors in front and axels in back and I bet that it goes way deeper than that. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too costly.

I have just finished converting my 5 lug to a 6 lug by doing an axle swap found a cheap 4x4 axle on CL for 250. Had to drive to az though. I also had to fab my own e brake, and shock mounts. Doing this will give you a 5 inch lift in the back. Youll also have to get new wheels and swap your tires. Its a lot of fun to do though. I should have done a write up on it now that I think about it. As for the front I am looking into doing a complete spindle swap which will swap the UCAs spindles and brakes. The only thing is I have to make sure the LBJ will mount into the new spindle. If it will then it should be just fine and wala 5 -> 6 lug conversion with a built in 5 inch lift, better gearing, suspension, and brakes. I did it all DIY. Words of advice have a spare vehicle and lots of time, CL and salvage yards are your friends.

If you find anything about the front let me know
