There is a 5 digit number stamped on a door lock cylinder.
    Is it a key code?
    Anyone know?

    :worthless:

Yes, I know, but then I would be revealing what may be a code to the whole (Tacoma) World! Sorry, not sorry!

My truck does not have a lock on the glove box. Do you know the cost of a key from the dealer?

your truck is old enough you can easily get a duplicate from your existing key from most hardware stores or any ma an pa lock shop.

So i have a question... did these trucks come with 2 separate keys? 1 for the ignition and a different 1 for the doors?
When i bought my truck owner only gave me 1 key but it only works for the ignition

So my passenger door key works with my ignition but I have a different key for my driver's door. can I get my driver's door lock rekeyed to match the passenger door?
