my wildpeaks have gotten really loud, I have around 20k on them so far, like weirdly loud compared to how quiet they were when they were new. kind of like mud terrain noise levels lol.

If they made these in 255/85/16, I would have gone that way. I went ST Maxx because of that.

    Like, so many.
I had the Terra Grapplers and have nothing bad to say about them. When I went to 285s I just wanted something more aggressive. I kept it in the family though lol

Nitto Ridge Grapplers have been great. You can’t go wrong with any of the tires mentioned though. Had Falken wildpeaks previously but like the aggressive look of the RG more.

    4 run, 2 don't
I've got 16" wheels, but I went Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's and I'm really happy with them!

I am running 265/70/70 Falken Wildpeak at/3w on T4R Sema Pro wheels and they are great so far. Just as quiet as stock. I have yet to use them in the rain but many say they are excellent in wet weather.

I've run BFG mud or all terrain on my Jeep and the wife's truck for many years. Great off road, rain, snow, never had a flat from the sharp rocks we have around here, and they last longer than anything else I've tried.
Will likely be putting them on the tacoma when the stock tires lose their tread.

BFG KO2s have been excellent for me! Great longevity, rain/snow, off-road, quiet and look great. Just a bit over priced.

The top five tires according to Tacomaworld in no particular order and in my opinion are:

    Nitto Ridge Grapplers (Hybrid MT/AT)
    BF Goodrich K02 (Aggressive AT?
    Falken Wildpeak (AT)
Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S/LT/XLT (Varying AT)
    Cooper STT Pros (Aggressive AT/MT?)

These are not the only options, just the most popular that I have noticed.

Is this on stock suspension with the PTR-2035110BK TRD pro 4 runner rims? If so is there any rubbing issues???
