For me, they are just right. They are wide enough and hang low enough to act as a good step up into the truck. Not ideal if you do any offroading though.

Just installed some 5" oval nerfbars. I don't think they look too big at all.

I had the same concern before buying my 5" Lunds. Once I installed them, I thought that they were just right.

I have no complaints with mine. At first I thought they might be too big, but now I like them better each time I look at them. Lund 5" Oval Curved Steel Nerf Ball20171022_133838.jpg .

Nice truck. Did you have to do any drilling? Where did you get the nerf bar? I found some on Auto Anything. I know I have holes in the frame already for the bars but wasn't sure if these would work. Thanks Robert

Thanks! They line up with the predrilled holes. You just have to take the plugs out. I ordered them off AutoZone back in January because they had a 15% code at the time.

Thought the 3” looked too puny. Like almost everyone else on this thread I have the 5” Lund curves Nerfs. Love how beefy they are for a sure step in/out! Super easy installation, have held up very well. Highly recommend.

Thanks everybody! Noticed the Lund users to be very proud of their purchases. Don’t hear anyone mention brands like Big Country, Ionic, Westin or Raptor. Do these brands have issues?

Thanks for the info. I found some online but I guess they don't work with the factory mud flaps. Thats what I have on my truck

Hm, hadn't thought about that. It does look like the front end of the bar may come pretty close to the factory mud flaps. I think I've seen people use them with the rokblokz and plasticolor mudflaps though, but not sure about oem.

Actually, that could be the angle of the pictures we all post. Maybe these will help more to determine the spacing. I'm not sure, but looks like there's enough space for mud flaps.

    I have a Gashole
I have Lunds and factory flaps. No issue at all.
Love the Lunds. Took about 20 min a side to install. Uses factory mounting points. As others have said, remove the plugs and bolt on. Easy peasy.

I have nothing to compare to, but I bought the Ionics and am very satisfied.

As others said, no issues with the OEM mud flaps, plenty of clearance.

I have 4” bars and although they are sleek and don’t stick out past the tires which are OEM for now, it would have been nice to have an extra inch as I don’t use them to get in and out except for the fact that I don’t want to pre maturely wear out my left seat bolster as it’s leather and Ive had a car in which you will notice wear and tear real quick if you’re on the heavier side by pivoting and sliding right out...
