4th Generation Toyota Highlander

Could not find a forum relating to these items, thought it may be good to start one.

2021 Toyota Highlander
Platinum
AWD
3.5L

issues we have had:
AC line had a small leak, AC lost its charge on day 1 of owning the vehicle, toyota was finally able to determine issue (after about 6,000 miles). Toyota dealer and Toyota corporate exhausted all efforts to make the issue right, toyota corp also gave us extended 8Y/100,000M warranty.

overall we are very happy with our highlander, we purchased as a family vehicle, and it has worked great for that.

mods:
Only mod that we have done is had the wheels stripped and powder coated satin black. Very happy with the results.

anyone else own a 4th generation Highlander? Had any issues with your vehicle? Are you happy with your purchase?

thank you. We are happy with it. A lot of the highlander packages come with black wheels, it was not an option in the platinum. Couldn’t find any aftermarket wheels we liked. Found a local powder coat shop and we are happy with it.
FYI - we’re from Concord, not too far from you in comparison to majority of the folks on this forum!

 

Small world, i was just at bass pro a few weeks ago. If you see a silver GX running around its prob me.

 

My in-laws bought a 2021 XSE and it’s pretty awesome. My wife and I are expecting our 2nd spawn, so I had to sell the taco and we settled on a 3rd Gen 2017 Highlander limited platinum. My father in law wants to trade me his 2021 for it . But so far I love it. I’ll be modding it here soon.

Those black rims look sick! I have a 2019 Highlander Hybrid and you're giving me ideas.

 

One of the packages come with black wheels, however the dealer wouldn’t let us get those wheels on ours. After a little research, it was way cheaper to powder coat ours than it was to buy different wheels
