I was up to 354 miles on my NEW 2024 Tacoma SR5 4x4 when I got the dreaded Electronic Parking Brake Malfunction. I was only able to get rid of the Malfunction by turning the Truck OFF and when I restarted the truck it disappeared. about a week and a half later same thing. I decided to take it into Toyota for a diagnostic check. In case anyone is interested this is what the Technician found. I will update this information if anyone is curious.

^Basically the tech can't fix what ain't broke at the time. Only thing you can do is drive as usual and wait for the fault to appear more frequently. When it does, hopefully it's just a bad switch on the center console and not something too invasive.

This is something that pops up across the entire Toyota fleet. I hate all this tech.
