Finished my suspension setup. King shocks, Icon rear springs, total chaos UCAs, RRW wheels, Falken AT4W 35x11.5 r17.
Can feel the tire weight, but still love it more than my 3rd gen.20240903_183842.jpg 20240903_183851.jpg

Tell us more. Mpg. Power loss. Hybrid or non hybrid. Handling.

Non hybrid- I wanted a long bed and dealers here in SoCal love their markups on the trailhunters (only long bed hybrid available).

MPG went down, About 17 mpg in mixed driving, before I was at about 21. It uses boost more when getting up to speed. Once cruising, it levels out.

The power loss is noticeable at low throttle input, but once you punch it, it still moves good.

Handling is good, the kings really take any dips well. With the offroad bilsteins I could feel the front hit bumpstops sometimes. They had to remove the crash bars behind the wheel and trim a piece up front.

It's probably overkill for what I'm doing, but I did a mild build on my 3rd gen and always wanted more. If I start regretting the tires, I'll change out to a 33 or 34.

Truck looks good, I really like the machined wheels. I can't recall what the new smaller bore size is for the hub on the 4G, what size bore do those RRWs have?

Cool. My hope is the battery helps me down low with bigger tires. On the fence between 34s and 35s. You’re on Falkens which I think are over 70lb. I’m looking at KO3s and Toyos.

it’s still not clear if 34s will fit without removing that crash bar. On the TH, I seem to have an inch of space at wheel lock so in theory a 34 is going to fit as it will only need half an inch or so more.

No idea, whatever it came set with from accutune. Probably 2 inches front, rear I used Icon springs, I think they have half or 3/4 inch lift.

I think the hybrid will spin the wheels fine. This isn't bad, just not a good a stock was. Still better than my 3rd gen. The falken tires are 68 lbs, I went with the RRW wheels because they're forged, only 19 lbs. BFGs and toyo have lighter tire options, I just wanted to try the falkens with the 3 ply sidewalls.

They're the correct bore, 95.1, I believe. Same as the new tundra. Bought through R4T. I think RRW is making some less aggressive offsets for these trucks now. These are 17x8 +12.

Icon stage 3 lift, icon wheels with Toyo open country 35” tires, addictive desert designs bumper with warn eco 10s winch and Baja designs 20” light bar. Prinsu pro cab rack with Baja designs 40” light bar, Baja designs ditch lights. AFE rock basher exhaust system, k&n intake.
I don’t know how much power loss I had on mine since I lifted mine and threw the 35s on with less than 100 miles on the truck lol. I did however throw a rock basher exhaust from afe power as well as their upgraded charge pipes. I have a k&n intake on order as well as the burger jb4 tune coming in so we’ll see how the power band is once done.

How are you liking the kings? I have an icon stage 11 kit getting installed later this month

I like you fitment. I went a little more aggressive with mine cause I have a set on the NYTOP matte carbon flares on order for mine. They are about an inch wider than the stock flares so they should fit the offset well once installed.

Did the charge pipes help? What roof rack you got?
I want all that stuff, but trying to slow down the spending. Maybe see what's on sale Black Friday.

I think I need rock sliders next.

The charge pipes helped a lot with the throttle response. Especially on initial takeoff. The rack is a prinsu pro. I had to throw a lot of stuff at mine pretty quickly cause it’s a billboard for our shop but know what you mean about spending

Kings are nice. I looked at those Icons with the electric controlled dampers, but was hesitant because of peoples reviews of icon stuff in the past. The shops in my area only rebuild kings, so no service available down the road either. Be cool to hear how you like them.

Great billboard! Pretty much everything I have saved in various shopping carts right now.
Which bumper and how was the fitment? See, you got me spending more money already.
