A good friend of mine is selling his 03' 4Runner, took the bush bar off for some repair work and is offering it to me for a hell of a deal.

Anyone tried fitting one of these things on a Taco? I don't mind a little modding, but I'm not in a position to weld custom brackets either. Style is very similar to the picture below (nicked from T4R, I make no claim to it), need to know if its close to a bolt up deal.

    Input is much appreciated!

It will bolt up but it won't be angled correctly. A 4Runner guy that showed up to the Citrus meet had a tacoma push bumper on his runner and it leaned forward.

Curious, I wonder if the bar would even clear the grille properly then, May take him up on it and post results just because.

    Thanks!

You're welcome! Maybe ask him if you can try the fitment on your truck before you pay for it. That way if it doesn't work out you can give it back.
