Hi, My 2025 is at the dealers they agreed to put on the OEM mud guards Mud flaps. But now they say that the 2024 mud guards may not fit the 2025. I've searched a lot online and I do think there is some merit to this as I can't find them if I specifically search for 2025 - but I do find them for 2024 ?? Also there was some talk to some minor chassis/fenders between the 1st 4th gen year and the the next .... Anybody have any concrete info....

    FYI The Mug guard kit I was looing at was ;
Tacoma Mudguard & Hardware Set - Toyota (PK389-35R00-P1)

    Thanks all !!

I can 100% assure you they are identical, I've installed them on 24's and 25's. Nothing has changed.

They are dealer installed on all Toyotas in my region.

I cant access the database right now but there's literally instructions for installing them lol. Toyota releases mud guard instructions with new model years every year.

I ordered that exact part number mudflaps and they fit my 2025 TRD sport truck perfectly.

However if you have a 202t TRD pro or Trailhunter, you will need PK389-35R50-P1 as those models have different fender flares

Per Previous reply .. I have the Instructions and even sent them to the Dealer..... The Instructions say 2024 - . And their parts department says that these do NOT show as 2025 parts. I could be that the Computer databases are just behind. I also read that someone was trying to get them in a Factory install but was told they were not available for the 2025 yet .... Such it is to be me !!! I should have just ordered them ($120? for the kit number I provided and tell them to put them on or throw them away if they did not fit ...

Order them and install yourself. Takes about 10 mins.

Yes ... but I'm old and retired and I'm spending almost $40K at the Dealer (for my last ever vehicle) and they are willing to put them on for free ... Logic dictates I at least try to get it done by them ...

No need for them. OEM mud flaps offer very little protection.

They should be the same if they ordered the ones for a truck with no fender flares. I just put on a nice large set of mud flaps from Weathertech and the part number is the same for 2024 and 2025 for a truck with no flares.

I installed that part number on my 25 OR LB and they fit perfect and offer good protection, but the hardware and instructions (from Toyota) were incorrect. I had to point it out to my parts guy and he was able to get me the correct bolts and was going to report the findings to Toyota.

The above part came with only 8 bolts - enough to mount the rear guards but nothing for the front (6 bolts) the instructions stated to use "existing hardware" which there is none.
After the parts guy looked at my truck and several Sport and Limited's he noticed none of the trucks have "existing hardware" and 2 different size/style guards. The part above is the Canada model and is much larger than the oem on the Limited.

I've found on several occasions the local dealers accessory database is missing certain parts for 24/25 models depending on the trin level you choose.
Either way the parts guys should have issue finding the correct fit.

Here's the Amazon link for the part # listed by the OP...

At $150, they're spendy, but if folks that have them on their trucks can verify that they keep mud/gravel off the front of the rear fender flare I'd pick them up. The extra large Muslogy ones that I bought in Feb. are not cutting the mustard in that regard.

Strange! And frustrating. My truck did have the existing bolts for the front flaps.

When I "ordered" my '25 Pro last year the dealer asked what options I wanted on it. I told him none. He suggested mudguards and since I was not aware there was a "Canada Option", I said okay. He called back later that day and said he couldn't spec it with mudguards. While waiting for my truck I learned about the wider OEM flares and ordered a set (~$130 delivered). My truck arrived with zero options but there were existing screws in the front and rear that I used plus either 2 or 4 of the 6 screws that came with the kit. Very happy with the fit and look of the 35R50 mudguards.

PM me! I have a brand new set of these I ordered through the dealer for my 25 TRD Pro that I need to sell. I needed the 35R50. The 24 & 25 Tacomas are the same mud guards. Takes 10-15 mins to install.
