Should be available on the OR trim with a manual transfer case. Personally I'm not a big fan of heritage striping. The stip on this 4R, looks like something you'd find on a van. I do like the bronze wheels, and a Solar Octane Pro 4Runner will probably look very good.

What happened to the 6th gen, thought that was a '23?

I dig it. Curious to see what they do for the TRD Pro for '23.

I like it myself although I'd like to see pics of the red and the white versions.

I don't care for the commitment to black vehicle ownership.

    Edit:

    Here it is in white

Just a grasp to get another year out of the 5th gen. Not bad but I think people are eager for the 6th gen

I'll reiterate that I dig it, but have to point out the hilarity that what could have been a 30th anniversary edition and this 40th anniversary are effectively the same minus a few pieces of safety and screen-related tech. It's akin to what happened with the Nissan 370Z, with the 40th and 50th Anniversary Editions of the Z both being 370s.

Could have been a "Special Edition" Nissan, and Toyota were infamous for badging last year production models as Special Editions, prior to the introduction of a new generation of that vehicle being introduced.

Which really didn't translate into anything special, not to say that particular vehicle isn't anything, as some last gen vehicles are more coveted than their predecessor. No reason to slap a Special Edition badge on a vehicle.

Looks good in white, is there less silver interior trim than other current 5th gen models?

I think the retro graphic would look better on silver sky metalic paint instead of the red.

As much as I like it, I don't think its something that I would pick out. Looks good, just not my thing.

Sequioa or Rav4 take you pick. I can't see Toyota designing, building, and selling a next generation 4Runner.

The new Sequioa looks smaller than the new Tundra. The Rav 4, already exists and it sells very well. Next gen Tacoma is on the horizon, and will generate a lot of excitement, and get plenty of attention. Toyota will probably build the FJ Cruiser BEV thing they are showing the world. The Fortuner exists in most markets outside the US.
