You'll be getting a 7" lift out of that combo. Better to remove the RC struts or if possible lower the struts to the smallest height and add the spindles.

Ok stupid question but how do you lower the struts? And also what would another option be to get that 1" lift with the Rc Struts. Cuz just with the Rc struts my stock spindle already feels like it barley made it in length when i put on these Struts

Im not familiar with the RC struts but was asking if they are like the Bilstein 5100s with the adjustable clip settings. If not and you dont have your oem suspension, many are often sold on here at a low cost.

You can use 5100 bilsteins with 884 coil set at the bottom setting and will get the maxtrac plus 1 “ from the coil.

Don’t the spindles need to be coupled with a longer coilover to begin with so technically the rc coil overs will be 1” too short?

If I’m thinking of this correctly you should be able to put a 1” lift spacer (1/2” thick actually) on the rc struts, or lower the rc coil overs and put a larger spacer, along with the new spindles to achieve the 4” lift.

No, a lift spindle retains all stock geometry. The only thing that is different is that the hub moves down on the spindle 4" lower which creates 4" of lift.

No, to get 4" of lift with a Maxtrak spindle the only thing you need to do is install the spindle, nothing else. You must use stock height coilovers or you will be higher than 4".

If the spindle is getting taller wouldn’t the shock need to be a longer shock as well?

No, as I explained previously all stock geometry is maintained the only difference with a lift spindle is that the hub moves down lower on the spindle nothing else changes. The position of the UCA and LCA relative to the spindle are still the same.

Oh so only the hub is moving? Is the spindle the same size as stock or its larger?

It is larger, much stronger and actually adds +3/4" to your track width per side : https://maxtracsuspension.com/i-30500089-2005-18-tacoma-2wd-6-lug-4-lift-spindles.html

Just in case you have not realized this - they can only be used on a 2wd because a s the hub moves down the hub moves below the LCA leaving no place for the axle to go.

Mind blown. I knew this lift was for a 2wd, however, I’ve never lifted 2wd truck (kinda silly) so I never even thought about the fact that the hub can be in line or below the LCA.
    Thanks for the info!

Also keep in mind that spindle lifts will push your wheel further out and will mimic a negative offset wheel.

2-2.5 inch lift with Bilstein 6112/5160s included in the wheelers trail pro lift kit. And 255/85r16 Yokohama Geolander G003 tires.
you don't need a 7 inch lift for 32's, a 3 inch lift with a proper alignemnt should fit with no rub
