4 port vs. 8 port intake manifold

so I’ve had my 03 torn down and I’m on the way up after replacing the timing chain oil pump water pump, head gasket, and got a new cylinder head from APR with new cams. Well, I should have noticed sooner but I was about to put the intake manifold on and they sent me an 8 port instead of a 4 port. I’ve already torqued everything down and really don’t want to back track now. What are my options? I don’t really want to put a 4 port intake manifold on a 8 port head but will it work? If the intake manifolds are the same except for the number of ports can I simply swap my 4 port for an 8 port?
