4-Pin Wiring Diagram Needed (truck side)

Hey guys. I need some help on my 19' SR. I have a small 4x8 utility trailer that I pull on rare occasions. I recently installed a receiver hitch but I still need to get a plug installed on the truck for the lights. Does anyone have instructions and a diagram that shows me which wires on the truck harness that I need to splice into? My truck is a 4 cyl. so it is not equipped with any towing accessories. If someone could help me with this I would appreciate it very much.

Yeah, that is a very nice setup for sure. However, my issue is that I have to use my trailer on Monday for the first time with my Tacoma and I really need some lights before then. At some point I will probably order this kit as a more permanent fix.

Right now I just need to splice in the old fashioned way to get me going if that is possible.

If you look in the driver's side kick panel, you will find a 4 wire plug. It's for the optional towing harness. But that could be for when you do have time.

 

For what it's worth if you goof up the clip putting the kick panel back on here's the number to order more. There's two different style of clips holding it on so you have to slide and then push.
