So I finished my supercharger install today. Low boost from LC engineering. Honestly, I'm really disappointed. It feels the same as it was without the supercharger. Directions say to run it around 200 miles so the ecu can adjust for the supercharger. I have gone about 50 miles.

Truck fired right up and runs great. Sounds the same too. Doesn't have the whine I've heard before.

    Think it's not working properly?

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Answer may be in your first paragraph... Maybe follow the directions?

I'd use some of your typical driving routes and then make some comparisons. The system probably has a different power band than you are used to. May need to experiment on your shift points and such to really feel it.

When I had my 04 I put the s/c on and it made a huge difference. I'd say it was close to what the 5vz made at the wheels. Was making 8 psi. Mine had the unichip for tuning what does it come with now? Are you running a stock intake because that will take away from the whine you would normally hear.

Did you go with the upgraded arp intake studs and for the underneath mount that goes from the blower to the engine mount? Those would break and was the main reason TRD stopped selling them.

I got the low boost which is around 4.5 psi of boost. Don't need to do anything else with fuel management. Yes, it did come with the support that bolts to engine mount.

Stock intake as in the air filter? I have the deck plate mod with a k&n.

Directions say it takes about 200 miles for the stock ecu to adjust and run properly. It seems to be running great. Just not much of a difference in power from stock :/

I don't have experience with the 3.4 SC, but the feeling is not uncommon initially on the 4.0 SC. It isn't until people realize the power is there when you lay into it, it feels about the same just driving around town. Either way, sounds like the ECU hasn't had a chance to dial it in.

Did you install a boost gauge as well? If so, are you noticing this lack of improvement when its at full boost or is it still in vac?

I have not installed one yet. I'm planning on that and an air fuel ratio gauge.

I ask because Out of boost it will drive basically like a stock truck. You should put the high boost pulley on it and some pink injectors.

I think I need a 5th injector and piggy back ecu with the high boost pulley. According to lc engineering.

That definitely how LCE sells it. There's a fair amount of people that have run it with just the pink top injectors

And I think you need a higher volume fuel pump with those injectors right?

Yeah a 190 would work fine
