Sub 2000 pound car

all sounds feasible. You know these 2rz/3rz platform is well known for taking boost well. It’s actually a funny thing I’m surprised I don’t see more built 2/3rz swaps in random things with big boost outside of Australia.

New England Racing Team builds a lot of 8 sec drag cars with the 3RZ. They like the “square” (95x95) block that they rev to the gods. They completely weld the head up and and build from scratch with straight ports, big valves and radical cam profiles (Kelford cams). Over 1000 HP! LC Engineering claims they were involved with a 1500 HP 3RZ build. But check out New England Racing Team in Instagram. Pretty bad-ass cars!

Yeah man, these builds are crazy.

If I could get an honest 150 out of this paperweight I’d be tickled silly.
