Hello. Can someone please provide detailed photos of the location of the oil pressure sending unit on the 2.7l 3rz.
Ive got a 1996 Tacoma and I can't figure out where the oil pressure sending unit plug, and accompanying wire go. (see photo)
I know its on the right side of the block somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

    Thanks.

Pass side of the block, toward the front, under the exhaust manifold.
Not to be confused with the coolant drain, which is also nearby.

Thanks. Really hoping to get some photos here. I have a feeling a previous owner might have threaded a normal bolt into the oil sending unit location.
I want some photos to be sure of that.

I'll be working on mine tomorrow and just bought a new oil sensor as well. I'll snap a picture its hard to miss. Is your oil light on? Its a simple switch that only feeds to the dash.

Thanks a lot man. Going to go take another look and see what's there!

Do you happen to have a photo of the termination of the other wire that comes out of the same loom in the top of your photo?

    Thanks for the help.

I was able to find the plug and the wire had been ripped out of it. Reattached the wire and it's working fine again.
In the first photo I posted the yellow and green wire on the left is actually for the oil pressure sending unit. Not sure what the plug on the right is yet. [IMG]
