Hey all, wanted to give my feedback on the Westin HDX grill guard. So far I am most impressed. I have successfully used a highlift jack on the most bottom support frame. Worked very well. No rust so far but we will see how a second winter treats it. Definitely want to powder coat before any starts. Here are all the pros and cons I have.

    Pros:
Can cradle with a highlift jack in the front.
Works about 90% of the time with the front TSS on my grill. sometimes rain or so pack on easy.
Can strap my canoe to is very nicely for the front!
    Looks amazing!
    Strong 4 point mounting system

    Cons:
No direct winch plate for the HDX like the sportsman model, will try and fabricate one soon.

    Thanks!

IK this is an old thread, but I was looking these up and saw your truck in another push bumper thread. Did you ever make a winch plate? How has it held up the past few years. Any impacts?
