    Hi all,

Was curious if the cloth seats in the 2019 TRD OR trim are "water resistant"? I fish a lot and go from hole to hole in wet waders often. I'm coming from a Honda Element, which had a sort of water resistant seat and took that sort of wear quite well.

Just curious what people's experience with these seats are as far as durability.

Your post title is confusing...Premium packages come with leather.

From what I know about the Honda Element, they were designed to be exposed to the elements...thus, the name. These cloth seats are pretty standard as far as automotive cloth goes. It gets damp, it drys out. Not much "resistance" to water that I've seen.

What seat covers do you recommend? I was thinking of using 303 spray protectant on the cloth seats instead of covers.

Beach towels would be a cheaper alternative

I have the clazzio black leather ones. Best investment I’ve made on my truck. They look and feel better than the stock leathers. They make a PVC seat cover that’s a little less money but still high quality.

I’m a soccer coach and didn’t want to stain my interior with my sweat after practices. Does the job and looks fantastic.

What kind of waders do you have that makes you so wet? Do you not take them off? If not use a large leaf bag to cover them
