I have the iPhone 13 Pro max and it does not work with the wireless charger in my truck. Any suggestions?

Did you try it without the case on it? Some cases are too thick.

13 Pro Max as well. Will only charge out of the case. The camera is soo massive with a case, which creates a distance from the phone to the charger pad.

The battery is amazing on it though. If I need to charge, I’ll just pop it out of the case or plug in cig lighter.

I have tried it without the case. I also have a cover on the camera lens. I bet the lens cover is the issue.

My max has to be in a very exact location to charge. All the way to the passenger side of the cubby and all the way back towards the shifter. So tucked completely against the lower right corner. If the phone is anywhere else on the mat it doesn’t charge. The wife’s smaller iPhone doesn’t work in that location, it has to be pulled left a half inch to an inch

I had an iPhone 8 that worked perfectly on the pad. My iphone 13 pro max won't charge no matter what I do. I ended up buying this and an Apple OEM USB-C to Lightning cable for fast charging. With the truck's cover for the cigarette lighter charger you can't even tell it's there.

Definitely turn on the charger power button. Placement of the phone is finicky...keep moving it until the light comes on the platform to confirm charge.

I have IPhone 13 SE. Works on the charger only if positioned as far toward the shifter as possible. Also have Otterbox on it and it still works.

Just to add something on top of that; move the phone, wait a few seconds. It takes a bit for the phone to actually show that the wireless charging is working. Hopefully something works well for you or else back to the dealer you go!

when you realize how slow it charges, you will be less inclined to mess with it. It worked on my old Android phone without much positioning, so I used it, but it would make the phone extremely hot and charge very slow.
I use several wireless chargers at home and in my hunting gear, without fail, so it leads me to believe the OE is just weak and/or poorly designed.

No problem with my iPhone 13 Pro, but the wireless charger is so weak I just use a cord to keep it charged and play music or use Waze on long trips.

gotta get it in the right spot if it works, then its slow as chit, and gets hot as chit, a Toyota fail in my opinion and dont use it....heat cant be good for a 800 dollar phone, I use a cig plug with usb c and a good cord that charges tons faster.

My iPhone11 has a cover case that allows charging through it. It takes a second to position the phone in the charging area. The longest I've had it on the platform was for almost an hour...I was driving north and needed to use the GPS when I got to inner Philly.

It does get unusually hot and takes about as long to charge as my iPhone cordless charger. These batteries need to charge slow...and I'm sure there's a good reason.

I had the same issue. 2019 TRD Pro and Samsung Note 20 Ultra. Really, really hot. One solution I tried was to disable fast wireless charging on the phone. That kept it from getting as hot, but was still a trickle charge. I've since gotten an anker 12v/USBC fast charger, and forgotten about wireless charging. TBH, I've never been happy with any wireless charging solutions. (Then again, I wire my internet at home too, lmao. Only hand held devices on wireless. The performance just pales in comparison to good old copper...)
