I'll be installing new suspension tomorrow and was trying to find a 3rd gen thread similar to this detailed 2nd gen Torque Spec. Guide can anyone help me out with the torque specs for our 3rd gens? I'm mainly looking for any suspension related specs including leaf spring, UCAs, and shock bolts.

I was able to find in the 3rd gen DIY maintenance thread:
    • Leaf Spring U-Bolts: 52 lb/ft
    • U-Joint Bolts: 65 lb/ft
    • Center Support bearing: 27 lb/ft

I would assume it's the same.

Do those 3rd gen specs match the 2nd? If not then forget my first sentence. :)

I'm guessing they should match? But I just wanted to get something to cross reference for peace of mind

Trying to think who would be a legit resource for that.

I'm thinking @Jeff Lange is the go to guy for concrete info.

Thanks. From what I've gone through so far, it's matching up to be the same. I might try to call my dealership up and see if they are in a helpful mood and might be able to provide me with a list of the specs.

@stvstoy I feel like you did your install yourself too, any ideas?

I believe my Icon instructions included Torque specs that were a little higher than factory, so I followed the Icon instructions. King instructions don't come with specs? I would reach out to them.

No idea. I havent checked the instructions for them. I just want to make sure for other stuff like the leaf spring bolts, UCAs, etc.

I'll take a look at the Kings instructions though when I get home from work

Did the spec sheet for the second gen work for the 3rd gen?

That's what I ended up using. So far, so good. Couldn't find anything that said otherwise though.

It was on here awhile ago when someone had a subscription. They posted it in PDF format. It may still be up somewhere, just need to dig a bit. I've got the PDF's saved on my phone too I think.

I've got the alignment specs also, but don't use the caster spec for stock.

Do you know what the torque spec is for the castle nut on the control arm/spindle?

I'd venture a guess it's similar to the tie rod ball joint specs. Could prob call dealer and ask em too.

I see that it's been a couple of years since the last post here, but ... chance you still have that pdf or the image files? I can make out the ft lbs numbers on the ones posted here. On the front end, I've taken the UCA and Coilover off and installing IVD ... looking to make absolutely sure everything is put back to spec. Thanks much.

Sorry, just saw this. Do you still need them? I will try and find them on my laptop later today. Not sure if I will be able to though.
