    What’s up everyone!

I’ve been doing weeks of research trying to remedy this issue and keep coming up short. I need to see what folks are trimming to fit this set up (285/70r17 17x9 -12mm offset with 4.53BS) with about 2”-2.5” of lift in front and maybe 3” in the rear. Was told by a shop I would be good to clear this set up and I literally haven’t been able to enjoy my brand new taco since I bought it in November. Please help! It’s rubbing in front and behind the front tire when turning over bumps but does clear at full turn if the truck sits right. At this rate a trail it out of the qs.

I’d start by removing the mud-flaps. Then with a marker or chalk mark where the tire touches and start cutting some inner liner plastic. Worst case scenario you are going to do some pounding with a hammer and CMC. After that you should be golden!

Crazy how much a quarter to half inch more of lift and 0 offset makes. If your rubbing that much at 2-2.5 inches w/ -12 on pavement, your gonna need to do some chopping. I doubt you got 3" of lift in the rear though. That doesn't make sense. What setup are you running?

Go to an alignment shop and ask them to max the caster forward from the lower control arms.

Thanks man, I was hoping someone with a similar set up(spec wise) would chime in with photos but that’s the most help I got haha

Yup, that’s why I’m asking what exactly people are cutting?

considering I just bought this entire set up at once, offset isn’t adjustable and preload has limits as to what makes the suspension preform as it should; throwing more lift on isn’t worth the loss of functionality and immediately replacing everything is not best financial decision

    What are you running?

The only thing we know is tire size and offset and an "approximate" lift that doesn't sound correct in the rear.
