Thanks for the offer but not really worth the drive for the price. I would really prefer to sell it locally that's why I priced it right so I wouldn't have to drive it somewhere. I have a topper on the truck and the topper is sitting on the bedrails.

Are you able to swap rails?

 

Forgive my ignorance but are they different? It's been a while since I had the topper Installed and I don't remember what they looked like. I just assumed the factory cut the bedrails since they used those plastic covers to cover the anchor points.

Yes, they're different. Those with the OEM cover from the factory have holes cut out in their rails where someone who doesn't have the cover from the factory do not. Most people do the rail swap so the buyer has the correct rails and no longer needs to cut and the seller would have no holes cut out in theirs.

 

Sounds doubtful since I would have to remove the topper and the rails have topper seal on them. I dI'd t install the topper the dealer did and I don't know if it was glued or not. I can take one of the corner hold downs off tomorrow and see if they used adhesive. Frankly I doubt they would be very pristine have the topper on top of them for the last year. I guess I wouldn't care about the holes since they are inside the bed and the cover extends all the way to the edge of the bed. Any holes are covered by the six plastic covers. I doubt "most people" have a buyer at the time they buy a topper and have the other truck there to swap bedrails and "most people" wouldn't install the topper directly on the paint. This topper has sat in my garage since the install of the topper and will sell as the pictures indicate.
