3rd Gen Tacoma Black out Concept

Not sure I followed what Toyota meant by this.

 

Well, it has some black on it and... it’s outside?

Looks like they blacked out the badges. Any truck on TW looks more like a concept Tacoma then what Toyota displayed.

Was this in fact labeled as "blacked out edition" from Toyota???
If so, that's sad. I'll show them some real black parts.

 

Needs some black hood louvers.

 

Yes it was. I wish I took better pics and of sign. I was drooling to much over the LFA.

 

Eh, it doesn't even have the black vinyl on the door pillars....or black mirror caps....or door handles.

All stock parts, they didn't try very hard on that one.

 

They should start with a black headlights and scoop

 

I just got back from Miami and New Orleans, I had about 6 days of Blacked Out Edition. There weren't any Tacoma's involved, only pissed off girlfriends. Apparently when you black out at your friends girlfriends birthday at a nice restaurant, and the owner has to sit by you outside on the side walk to keep you from getting arrested, Tacoma's are the last thing on ones mind.

The only thing blacked out on that truck is the wheels and grill

 

No joke, I live in WNC and the other day I saw a white one on the road, Gorgeous!!!

The Cliffs properties that supposedly had courses designed by Tiger Woods have huge homes on even larger lots.
I figured it belonged to one of those folks.

 

Just looks like an OR with Pro Grill, Pro Wheels, and Sport Hood, and they pulled off the black vinyl, making it less black

 

Was that a '18?
